DESCRIPTION: Granicrete’s MetalliX is low viscosity, ZERO VOC, two-component, 100% solids, high build, low odor, with advanced cyclo-aliphatic engineering. It has both chemical and UV resistance.

SURFACE PREP: Surface must be dry and free of oil, grease, curing agents, dirt, dust, or other foreign material. New concrete must be at least 28 days old. Surface should feel like 100-grit sand paper.

COVERAGE: As a “show coat” mixed with Mica Essence is 150sf to 200sf/kit. Some installers report as much as 250 sf/ kit. No activator (Acetone, Denatured Alcohol, or Isopropyl Alcohol 91%) is required to create a blended look.

MIXING: Premix 16 oz of Mica Essence (2 jars) into the 2-gallon Part A at lower speed drill using a mixing paddle at less than 350 rpm. Blend for 3 to 5 minutes. Be sure Mica Essence is thoroughly mixed. Then add the 1 gallon Part B and thoroughly mix for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Immediately pour in ribbons and spread by notched squeegee to uniform thickness. Any contents left in the mixing pail will heat up and lose working time.

WORKING TIME: Is 30-45 minutes. Best ambient temperatures are 55°F to 90°F. Thinning is not required. DRYING TIME: Dry to touch in 12 hours. Recoat between 12 and 24 hours. Allow light foot traffic after 24 hours. Allow vehicular and other heavy traffic after 72 hours. Full Cure is 5-7days. CLEAN UP: Uncured material can be removed with acetone or similar solvent. Cured material may only be removed mechanically.

LIMITATIONS: Do not apply when ambient or surface temperatures are below 55°F or above 90°F Caution: Moisture, rain, or overnight condensation may impede results.
